- 4201 Brook Road Richmond, Virginia 37º35'29" N, 77º27'9" W Battery Park Christian Church was founded in 1921 and located at the corner of W. Essex Street and Moss Side Avenue. The structure pictured here was built in 1948, about two miles north of the previous location. The stained glass windows came from the old Seventh Street Christian Church, which had been located at the corner of E. Grace Street and N. 7th Street. A single green stained glass window on the stair wall to the balcony came from the Old Sycamore Christian Church (Sycamore Church of the Disciples), which from 1833 to 1870 was located on 11th Street, between Broad and Marshall Streets. The Northside Church of Richmond also holds services in this building on Sunday afternoons, displaying their sign only at that hour.
