Description:: 2320 E. Main Street Richmond, Virginia 37º31'47" N, 77º25'20" W Farm Fresh is a small grocery chain with the great majority of their stores in the Norfolk-Hampton-Chesapeake part of Virginia, but they also have one store in Richmond. The Richmond Farm Fresh is larger than a market but smaller than most groceries. Some people complain about their prices, but they still do a brisk business because that part of Richmond is seen as a food desert and there just aren't that many shopping choices. I don't live near the Farm Fresh but when I go to Sub Rosa Bakery I usually stop at Farm Fresh because they sell large bags of in-the-shell peanuts, for which our backyard squirrels are grateful. Before this was Farm Fresh Johnny Johnson operated the Market at Tobacco Row here starting in 2002, but apparently that store closed along with his 25th Street Community Pride grocery in 2004.
