Cook Photograph Collection
from The Valentine
This collection of more than 10,000 glass-plate and film negatives and several hundred photographic prints was created and compiled by the Cook Studio of Richmond. It encompasses the photography of George Smith Cook (1819-1902) and his son Huestis Pratt Cook (1868-1951). The collection also includes the work of other Richmond photographers, including David H. Anderson, Vannerson & Jones and the Lee Gallery.
