- Fox Farm, located at 2221 Grove Avenue in the Fan District, was purchased by the Gillettes on August 15, 1923. Bricks from the original kitchen were used to build high walls that enclosed a long back yard running down to an alley. There was also a walled-in patio to one side. Wide flower beds were planted on either side of a path which extended the length of the yard.; Photograph of brick walk, flower beds, and brick wall with door at the back of the yard.
