Description:
Greek Revival building built in 1838. Purchased by Gillette in 1932 or 1933 and renovated as an office building. Working from plans drawn by architects J. Binford Walford and O. Pendleton Wright, Gillette converted the building to a combination office and residence in 1944. The Gillettes called their residence "Snug Harbor". The renovation is described in an article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, January 25, 1948. 1 photograph : b&w ; 9 x 13 cm.
