- 405 Brook Road Richmond, Virginia opened summer 2016 37º32'51" N, 77º26'34" W This charming little place is run by an 80+ years-old dynamo of a woman who is more interested in good food and good community than she is in good profits. Her shop's open every day except Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. so you can stop anytime for not only gelato but also breakfast biscuits, sandwiches, pizza, salads, soups, and coffee that's much too inexpensive. Note: this placed closed its doors on 23 December 2018. It will re-open under new ownership in a few months.
