Richmond, Virginia
(inherited from collection) - Description:
- 2900 Grove Avenue Richmond, Virginia built in 1887, restored 1960-1961 37º33'22" N, 77º28'34" W This building is surprisingly colorful inside since it is there that you see the stained glass windows, windows that are scarcely visible from the outside. The commemorative windows, dating from the 19th century, are dedicated to Confederate war dead. That, along with the paucity of religious iconography, render this place more memorial and less chapel.
