- 16 W. Clay Street Richmond, Virginia 37º32'51" N, 77º26'30" W Baist's 1889 Atlas of the City of Richmond Virginia and Vicinity names this building "M.E. Church" but the full name was Clay Street Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1917 the Hood Temple AME Zion Church, which had formed in 1910, moved into the building. One-hundred and one years later they are still there.
