Description:
1 W. Broad Street Richmond, Virginia 37º32'44" N, 77º26'31" W A drug store was established here in 1883 by two people named Harrison and Pierce. William G. Tarrant took over the store in 1905 and renamed it for himself. Upon his death in 1961 his son Bill operated the business until 1987. Many of the old furnishings remain in the present Tarrant's Cafe, opened in 2006. The stone bar top came from the Jefferson Hotel after a remodel there.
