Description:
1710 Robin Hood Road Richmond, Virginia 37º34'26" N 77º27'43" W This building was built in 1911 by the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway as the Westham Station, located west of the current site of Richmond's Huguenot Bridge. The station closed in 1962 and reopened two years later at its present site, which was then a park called Travelland. In 1975 the building became Richmond's tourist information center, serving in that capacity until the center moved to new quarters in 2002. The building, owned by the City of Richmond, has been vacant and neglected since that time.
