St. Joseph's Villa 8000 Brook Road Richmond, Virginia 37º37'56" N 77º27'36" W One of several buildings that comprise the St. Joseph's Villa complex. Founded as St. Joseph's Academy and Orphan Asylum in 1834 in downtown Richmond, St. Joseph's Villa claims to be the longest continuously operating children's nonprofit in the U.S. This property, then known as Hollybrook Farm, was purchased in 1898 and the present campus constructed on it in 1931.
