Description:
Card Text \(transcribed from postcard\): Beth Ahaba ('House of Love,') the beautiful Jewish Synagogue located at Ryland and Franklin Streets, was dedicated on Dec. 9, 1904 with impressive ceremonies. The building is a perfect octagon, with a Doric portico and columns attached in front. It is easily the handsomest and most commodious synagogue in the South, and will compare favorably with any other in this country. Note: Beautiful and Historical Richmond, Va. Series No. 42; Postmarked: 1917 City/Location: Richmond (Va.)
