Franklin Street in the Monroe Ward area of Richmond, Virginia; two-story Greek Revival style house with raised basement and temple portico. __Built for Samuel Taylor in 1845; bought by P. H. Mayo in 1883; donated to the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia in 1923. Inscription: Written __"Mayo Residence N. E.
