- Black and white photograph of contractors setting underpinnings under the west walls of the Stewart-Lee House at 707 E. Franklin Street in Richmond, Virginia, and the adjacent museum in the rear in order to stabilize the building; near the front of the house, also on the west side, steel beams have been driven into the ground to provide additional support for the building; the precautions have been taken so that the house will not fall into the adjacent 30-foot basement being dug for a new 15-story office building at 7th and Franklin Streets. Inscription: Stamped __Red date stamp - May 14 1967 and May 11 1967; black "Property of Richmond Times-Dispatch / News Leader" stamp; black "P.A.
